Volunteer Sign Ups

Join Restore Our Shores as we will be planting Florida native grasses and flowers along Pineapple Park in Melbourne. This planting will create habitat for local wildlife and pollinators and reduce stormwater runoff from entering the lagoon. 

 

When:  April 22nd, 2025

Time:  1:30 PM - 3:30 PM

Location: Pineapple Park, Melbourne FL 32935 (located behind the Eau Gallie Library)

This event is open to ALL AGES.  Although this isn't necessarily a water activity, you will be working alongside the water.  However, do expect to get dirty working with the dirt.  All tools and instruction will be provided.  This event is outside with little to no shade.  In order to be as sustainable as possible, we do not provide water bottles.  There will be water to refill a water bottle that you bring with you.  Light snacks are provided at breaks but please bring with you anything you will need for the morning.  Closed toe shoes are mandatory (no flip-flops, Keens, or Crocs).

A volunteer waiver will be needed to be submitted if you haven't volunteered with us before.  The waiver will be emailed to you prior to the event.
