Geiger Point Marine Debris Cleanup - Water Team

Please join us as we clean up Marine Debris from Geiger Point, Front Street Park, and the surrounding area via Kayak. PERSONAL KAYAK REQUIRED.
LOCATION: Front Street Park - 2205 Front St, Melbourne, FL 32901
TIME: 9 am to 12 pm
Registration is required and volunteers must be 15 years or older, be able to be outside in full sun during their shift. Volunteers will be participating in a marine debris clean-up of Geiger Point and its surrounding areas using kayaks to clean the waterways and clean within waterfront vegetation. Please wear closed toe shoes such as dive boots or old sneakers (i.e. no flip flops, Crocs, etc), clothes that can get wet and dirty (long sleeve shirts preferable), hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. Please bring anything you will need for the duration of the day. We do provide light snacks for breaks, but you can bring your own if you prefer. We do not provide individual water bottles, so please bring your own to refill as needed from our water coolers.
A volunteer waiver will be emailed to you prior to the event.
