COASTAL CONSERVATION ASSOCIATION

Coastal Conservation Association seeks to advise and educate the public on the conservation of marine resources with the objective of ensuring future availability for the benefit and enjoyment of the public. The Orlando Chapter of CCA is a powerhouse for the oyster mats program, providing boats and volunteers to help with reef-building efforts each summer.

EASTMINSTER PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF INDIALANTIC

Easterminster has supported the development of our living shorelines project by contributing land in-kind for the living shorelines demonstration site.

FAMILY FARMS CHARITIES

Applying our collective farming expertise, Family Farms Charities will supply food for the hungry, help farm families in need and provide ag-related tools and training to help families and communities achieve self-sufficiency.

FLORIDA OCEANOGRAPHIC SOCIETY

The hatchery staff at Florida Oceanographic Society in Stuart produce oyster larvae used in the oyster gardening program.

GRANT SEAFOOD FESTIVAL

The Grant Seafood Festival takes place each spring in Grant and provides recycled oyster shells from their event for use in the oyster gardening programs.

LIMITLESS VISTAS

Limitless Vistas volunteers collect recycled shells from several Orlando-area restaurants for use in the oyster gardening programs.

MARINE DISCOVERY CENTER

Marine Discovery Center in New Smyrna Beach provides both volunteer support for reef building and recycled oyster shells for use in oyster gardening programs.

SHUCK AND SHARE

Shuck and Share collects discarded oyster shells from restaurants, seafood festivals and shellfish distributors to use in oyster gardening and reef building restoration programs.

THE NATURE CONSERVANCY

The Nature Conservancy helped to found the oyster mats project, along with the University of Central Florida, and provided essential funding for the program.
