DETAILS:

We are looking for volunteers ages 15 and over to help us fill gabions with oyster shells. You must be able to work outside during your shift with little to no shade. This is NOT a water activity.  Please wear clothes that can get dirty but appropriate for the weather.  Closed toe shoes are mandatory (no flip flops, Crocs, etc.).  Volunteers will be shoveling shells into metal gabions. All tools and instructions will be provided.  We do not provide water bottles so please bring with you a refillable water bottle.  There will be water to refill your water bottle when needed.  We provide light snacks but feel free to bring your own or anything else you will need for the duration of the event.

Location: 4600 Dowling Circle, Cocoa

A volunteer waiver will be need to be submitted in order to volunteer. The waiver and a reminder email will be sent a few days prior to the event. A new waiver will need to be submitted for 2024 even if you have volunteered with us in the past.  Please keep any eye on your spam or junk mailbox folder in case it is sent there.

*Please let us know if you need us to fill out a form verifying your volunteering time with us.  Please bring the form with you the day of the event, or we can provide you with one.  This will need to be done the day of the event.
