Sorting/Filling Oysters April 12th

DETAILS:

Please join us to help sort oysters into gabions which will be placed in oyster reefs in the Indian River Lagoon!

LOCATION:  Meet the team at the Eau Gallie Causeway Boatramp, FL-18, Melbourne (heading east).

TIME:  9 am to 2 pm

Registration is required and volunteers must be 15 years or older, be able to be outside in full sun during their shift and be able to lift roughly 30 pounds.

This is both in the water activity and out of water activity.  Please wear closed toe shoes, clothes that can get wet and dirty (long sleeve shirts preferable), hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, etc.  Please bring with you a towel, water (you can refill as needed from the water coolers), snacks, lunch and whatever else you will need for the day.
