Event Chair: Restore Our Shores

Please join us as we prepare for the 2023 oyster reef building season!

We are looking for volunteers to assemble and fill gabions with oyster shell.  Volunteers must be ages 15 and over and be able to lift roughly 30 pounds.  You must be able to work outside during your shift.  This is NOT a water activity.  Please wear clothes that can get dirty and protect yourself from metal (long sleeves/pants). We do not provide water bottles so please bring with you a refillable water bottle  There will be water to refill your water bottle when needed.  We provide light snacks but feel free to bring your own or anything else you will need for the duration of the event. 

Location:  860 Camp Road, Cocoa, FL (across from the county jail)

A volunteer waiver will be need to be submitted in order to volunteer.  If you have volunteered with us in 2022, we will need a new waiver submitted for the year 2023.  The waiver and a reminder email will be sent a few days prior to the event.  Please keep any eye on your spam or junk mailbox folder in case it is sent there.
